The Commercial Department of the Embassy of Israel, based in Chicago, focuses on a wide range of activities and services aimed at the promotion of trade and joint ventures between Israel and the Midwest Region of the United States.
It's main activities include:
Assisting the Midwest business community by offering contact and other information about Israel and Israeli entities and companies which are open to adding a U.S. footprint.
Assisting the Israeli business community by providing business information and contacts through an extensive database of businesses in the Midwest from a variety of economic sectors.
Encouraging business people from Midwest regional delegations, trade fairs, exhibitions and other events to engage with Israeli businesses through direct mailing, press releases, and personal contacts.
Encouraging Israeli businesses to take part in Midwest based conferences and events through the use of our extensive professional contacts database.
Promoting Israeli business and trade by contacting and meeting business people and business organizations from the Midwest and informing them of commercial opportunities in Israel.
The Department is fully computerized and has direct access to the Israel Export Institute and a wide variety of other relevant business directories.
